The top stone is 1 1/2" long, 5/8" wide and 1/4" thick. The middle stone is 3/4" long, 1 1/8" wide and 1/4" thick. The bottom stone is 1 1/2" long by 1 1/16" wide and 1/4" thick. The total length of the pendant is 3 1/8".

The settings, hinge and bale are all sterling silver; the stones come from South America; the pendant was hand-crafted in Brazil.

Of course the power of three. But what intrigues me most about this piece is how the jeweler/artist cut the bottom stone in such a way that it creates a line inside the stone, 1/4" of an inch in.
